EVERY SECOND
OF DELAY
SAVES LIVES
Victus Defense is the premier representative for Clear-Armor®, the product of four issued U.S. patents and millions of square feet of installed protection. Clear-Armor laminate is engineered to defeat common handgun rounds, 12-gauge 00 buckshot, bomb blast, and forced entry — while meeting building fire code. But the real value goes beyond stopping threats: Clear-Armor buys your people the time they need to react, lock down, and execute their safety plan before threats escalate.
Clear-Armor is engineered for the threat profile facing the vast majority of institutional and commercial properties: common handgun rounds (9mm through .44 Magnum at NIJ Level IIIA), 12-gauge 00 buckshot, IED and bomb blast pressure, forced entry tools, and sustained physical assault. Tested, certified, and proven. Meets fire code. And critically — buys your people the time they need to execute their response plan.
Because Clear-Armor applies directly to your existing glass as a laminate — not a structural modification — no building permit is required. No waiting periods, no city approvals, no contractor coordination. Your facility stays fully operational throughout installation.
Clear-Armor installations adapt in real time. If a new entry point needs addressing mid-project, our Specialty Trained Installers handle it without restarting permitting or scheduling. Your priorities drive the scope — not a rigid contract. Collaborative, flexible, and responsive to how your facility actually operates.
Clear-Armor holds exclusive U.S. patent protection on its penetration-resistant laminate technology. Victus Defense is the authorized representative. No other company can legally manufacture, distribute, or install this product — making Clear-Armor the only compliant option for procurement vehicles requiring sole-source justification.
Clear-Armor holds U.S. Patent Nos. 10,539,399; 11,029,132; 11,287,224; and 11,864,494 — the only security laminate in the market with active patent protection on its penetration-resistant method and assembly. No competitor can legally replicate this technology.
Clear-Armor offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on materials, installation, and workmanship — as long as the laminate is properly maintained. This is not a fixed-term warranty. It covers the product for the life of the installation.
UNDEFEATED.
VERIFIED. PATENTED.
Every claim about Clear-Armor is backed by third-party testing, issued U.S. patents, and live deployments across millions of square feet. When seconds count, the technology you deploy needs to perform — and ours has, every time.

WHEN THE POWER GOES OUT,
WE STILL WORK
Every electronic security system shares one weakness: it depends on something. Power. Internet. Cloud servers. Firmware updates. Cut any one of those and the protection goes dark. Clear-Armor®, TruArmor®, and TruTrauma® depend on none of it — which is exactly what makes them a competitive advantage. They work the instant a threat arrives, every time, with zero dependencies.

YOUR HOURS.
YOUR PRIORITIES.
YOUR FACILITY STAYS OPEN.
Most security upgrades shut down facilities, disrupt operations, and force clients to absorb the cost of lost business or interrupted services. Clear-Armor doesn’t work that way. We perform installations during the hours you choose — overnight, weekends, holidays, or staggered through normal operations — without interrupting your business.
Overnight, weekends, holidays, or phased through business hours — installation scheduling fits your operational calendar, not the other way around. Schools install during summer break. Retailers install after closing. Hospitals install in coordination with clinical schedules.
Every installer completes a Clear-Armor Specialty Product Installer program with significant classroom curriculum and extensive on-the-job training (OJT) requirements before earning certification. In union environments this is recognized as a genuine craft-level qualification.
All Clear-Armor product installations are performed exclusively by Clear-Armor employees — never subcontracted, never licensed out to third parties. This is a fundamental requirement of the warranty and the patent licensing. The installer is the manufacturer.
Laminate-to-glass application is not a structural modification. No demolition. No frame cutting. No dust, noise, or debris. Most installations complete in hours per opening — and the facility looks and operates exactly the same when we leave.
PROTECTION FOR
EVERY THREAT LEVEL
Clear-Armor offers a tiered product system — from forced entry deterrence through full ballistic protection — applied to existing glass by factory-certified Specialty Trained Installers. Each product is engineered for specific threat profiles: common handgun rounds, 12-gauge 00 buckshot, bomb blast pressure, and forced entry. All products meet building fire code — and all deliver the same critical outcome: they buy your people the time they need to execute their response plan.
This second-generation 15-mil security laminate is engineered to defeat smash-and-grabs, forced entry attempts, bomb blast pressure, and high winds. Shot through multiple times, the glass will not collapse — giving your team critical time to react, lock down, and execute your safety plan. Meets fire code. No building permit. No glass removal. Lifetime warranty.
Our world-patented 31-mil riot control laminate handles prolonged attacks, crowd riots, and active threat scenarios. Holds glass firmly in place through sustained assault — giving occupants the critical minutes they need to execute active threat protocols, get to safety, and let first responders arrive. Stops common handgun threats. Meets fire code. Lifetime warranty.
This is the only patent-holding retrofit laminate with NIJ Level IIIA certification. Engineered for common handgun rounds (9mm through .44 Magnum) and 12-gauge 00 buckshot. Third-party verified by NTS: 15 shots, 3 samples, zero penetrations. Defeats bomb blast pressure. Meets fire code. Your glass becomes your shield.
Clear-Armor opaque ballistic panels covering NIJ Levels II through IV. Weighs 1–3.2 lbs/ft² versus the industry standard of 20–30 lbs/ft². Zero ricochet through capture-round design. Outperforms Kevlar, AR500 steel, and fiberglass on every measurable dimension.
When custom installations require dedicated mounted glass — entryways, transaction windows, secure reception areas — Clear-Armor provides factory-laminated, NIJ-rated assemblies engineered to client specification. Patented technology, lifetime warranty, certified installation.
Need protection beyond standard laminate threat levels? Clear-Armor builds custom applications stopping the largest caliber rifle projectiles — engineered to your specification. Contact us for high-threat custom builds.
BUILT FOR EVERY
DUTY OF CARE
From K-12 schools to federal courthouses, retail storefronts to executive vehicles — Clear-Armor via Victus Defense protects any facility where glass is the vulnerability and where seconds of delay translate directly into lives saved.
Clear-Armor retrofits existing windows in hours without disrupting class schedules. No permits. No construction. Grant-fundable through DHS, DOJ, and COPS programs. The FBI states 80% of forced entry occurs at main entrances — Clear-Armor closes that gap, giving teachers and staff the time they need to lock down and execute safety plans before threats reach students.
SDVOSB-certified and SAM.gov registered for federal, state, and local procurement. Eligible for GSA Schedule, sole-source awards, and SDVOSB set-asides. Sole-source justification fully documented.
Lobbies, executive areas, and financial institutions need ballistic protection that doesn’t telegraph security concerns to visitors. Clear-Armor is optically invisible — your building looks exactly the same while providing NIJ IIIA protection.
Hospital violence is a recognized national crisis. Clear-Armor meets hospital safety compliance and installs with zero disruption to active clinical environments. Emergency departments and high-risk access points hardened in hours, not weeks.
Smash-and-grab crime is surging. Clear-Armor SL-15 holds glass in place through repeated impacts — stopping thieves without cages or bars. Deployed in storefronts, jewelry stores, dispensaries, cannabis retailers, and banks.
Faith communities have become targeted environments. Clear-Armor provides discreet, aesthetically respectful ballistic protection without altering the character of the sanctuary — or requiring permits and construction that disrupt community life.
INDUSTRY’S STRONGEST
WARRANTY
Clear-Armor, LLC offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the materials, installation, and workmanship of all Clear-Armor products — as long as they are properly maintained per the cleaning and preservation instructions provided at time of installation.
Under this warranty, Clear-Armor will replace or repair any quantity of laminate proven to be defective, provided the client adheres to the care requirements. This is a Lifetime warranty — not a fixed term. It covers the product for the life of the properly maintained installation. No competitor in the security glazing industry matches this coverage.
Clear-Armor security and safety laminate, when properly applied by our Specialty Trained Installers, should reduce the likelihood of injuries to persons or property if the glass is broken. While forced entry may be delayed or discouraged, Clear-Armor may not completely prevent ultimate entry under all circumstances.
WHY LIFETIME COVERAGE MATTERS
The security glazing industry is full of 1-year limited warranties that transfer all long-term risk to the building owner. Clear-Armor’s Limited Lifetime Warranty is a statement of confidence in the technology, the installation process, and the certified employees who perform the work.
For government agencies, school districts, and healthcare systems making 20-year capital decisions, this warranty provides a total cost of ownership advantage that conventional glass replacement systems cannot match. One installation. Lifetime coverage. No re-procurement cycle.
ENGINEERED FOR
SPECIFICATION
For specifying architects, Clear-Armor delivers what matters most: certified performance, optical clarity, design preservation, and a system that doesn’t disrupt the building envelope. No frame modifications. No glazing schedule changes. No permit re-submittals. Specify Clear-Armor and your design intent stays intact.
Clear-Armor is optically clear with 87% visible light transmission and zero distortion. No yellowing, no hazing, no clarity degradation over the life of the installation. The building looks exactly as designed — daylighting, views, and aesthetic intent are fully preserved. Specifying ballistic protection no longer means compromising the visual experience.
Because Clear-Armor laminate applies directly to existing glass, the building envelope, frame profiles, glass-to-frame relationships, and sightlines remain exactly as specified. No add-on framing systems. No polycarbonate overlays creating depth or reflection differences. The protection is invisible from any viewing angle — interior or exterior.
NIJ Level IIIA certified through independent third-party testing by NTS Technical Systems — 15 shots, 3 samples, zero penetrations of .44 Magnum 240-grain SWCGC at certification velocity. UL 752 tested. GSA Blast Level 1&2 rated. Performance documentation is available for inclusion in specifications, submittals, and code compliance reviews.
Clear-Armor laminate holds glass in place through repeated impacts, defeating smash-and-grab, forced entry tools, and sustained physical assault. The glass cracks but does not fail — buying critical response time. Tested to industry forced-entry standards and proven in live deployments across schools, retail, and government environments.
Clear-Armor meets applicable building fire code requirements including ASTM E84 surface burning characteristics, ANSI Z97.1 safety glazing standards, CPSC 16 CFR architectural glazing, and BMAG Level 1 blast mitigation certification. No special variances required for code submittal.
Clear-Armor applies to the existing glazing as a laminate. No new framing systems, no glass replacement, no hardware modifications, no glazing schedule changes. The original window or curtain wall assembly remains structurally and visually intact — preserving the architect’s complete design intent.
Beyond ballistic performance, Clear-Armor rejects 99% of UV radiation. Interior finishes, art, fabric, furniture, and flooring are protected from fade. For institutional buildings with valuable collections, historic interiors, or premium finish budgets, this is meaningful long-term value preservation.
For projects requiring threat protection beyond standard NIJ Level IIIA — high-powered rifle threats, special government applications, or unique specifications — Clear-Armor builds custom applications stopping the largest caliber projectiles. Engineered to your specification, with full performance documentation and patent-protected technology.
SEE YOUR FACILITY
THE WAY A THREAT
WOULD SEE IT
Every Victus Defense engagement can begin with a professional security assessment led by Tom Berhane, VP of Security Operations — a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army’s most elite units. Tom evaluates your facility the way an adversary would: identifying vulnerabilities others miss, prioritizing hardening by actual risk, and building a protection plan matched to your threat profile and budget. Contact us to schedule your assessment.
Tom spent a decade with the 75th Ranger Battalion and another decade with Special Forces 5th Group — organizations where assessing vulnerabilities, anticipating adversary behavior, and planning for the unexpected is the difference between mission success and failure. That same discipline now drives every facility assessment he conducts.
Elite military operations demand obsessive attention to detail — and Tom brings that standard to every walkthrough. Sightlines, access points, glass vulnerabilities, response-time gaps, choke points, and blind spots: nothing is overlooked, because in his world, overlooked details cost lives.
Most security consultants assess for yesterday’s threats. Tom’s special operations background — including post-service security work across East Africa — gives him an applied understanding of unconventional and evolving threats: coordinated attacks, atypical entry methods, and adversaries who adapt. Your assessment accounts for what’s coming, not just what’s common.
Every assessment produces a clear, prioritized hardening plan: which entry points to protect first, which Clear-Armor product matches each threat profile, and how to phase deployment within your budget cycle. Quality you can act on — not a generic checklist.
DON’T LET BUDGET BE
THE REASON GLASS
STAYS UNPROTECTED
Substantial security funding is available at the federal, state, and local level — and most organizations are not taking full advantage of it. Victus Defense actively helps clients identify, apply for, and navigate grant programs that can fund Clear-Armor installations at little or no direct cost to the organization.
Because Clear-Armor requires no permits, no construction, and no glass replacement, the total project cost is dramatically lower than conventional security glazing upgrades — making it easier to fully fund through grants.
Federal funding for physical security improvements at nonprofits at high risk of targeted attack — houses of worship, schools, community centers.
Department of Justice community safety programs covering physical security enhancements for schools and public safety facilities.
Pre-disaster mitigation funding covering blast mitigation and forced-entry protection improvements for public facilities.
Every state maintains security-related grant programs. Victus Defense helps navigate these at no additional cost.
Victus Defense includes grant identification and navigation support as part of our client engagement. We understand government procurement timelines, budget cycles, and compliance requirements — and we help you make the case that Clear-Armor is the right investment.
As an SDVOSB, our projects also qualify for set-aside and sole-source designations that streamline the procurement process for government-funded installations.
A PROCUREMENT ADVANTAGE
NO COMPETITOR HOLDS
Government agencies, school districts, and healthcare systems face a shared challenge: a mandate to protect people, a procurement process built for construction projects, and a budget that fits neither. Victus Defense is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration — and combined with Clear-Armor’s exclusive patent position, that creates a sole-source procurement advantage no competitor can replicate.
Compete in SDVOSB set-aside contracts or qualify for sole-source awards without full and open competition — backed by both SDVOSB certification and Clear-Armor’s patent exclusivity. Sole-source justification documentation is prepared and available for all applicable procurement vehicles.
SAM.gov registered and active. UEI NETHNAMLSDY7. CAGE code available on request. All contractor credentials are in place so procurement can move without administrative hold-ups.
We actively help clients identify and apply for DHS, DOJ, COPS, FEMA, and state security grant programs — converting budget constraints into funded, deployed protection.

THE ONLY TRANSFERABLE
VEHICLE ARMOR
IN THE WORLD
TruArmor® is Clear-Armor’s globally patented vehicle armor technology — the lightest bullet-resistant glass on the market, and the only system in the world that can be removed from one vehicle and transferred into another. When you decommission a patrol vehicle, the armor goes with you to the next one. That changes the economics of vehicle hardening permanently.
TruArmor bullet-resistant vehicle glass is the thinnest and lightest shatter-proof window system available. Provides optimal protection without adding unnecessary weight or impacting the ability to roll down windows. Multilayered, world-patented, made in the USA — no retrofitting required.
Globally patented technology allows ballistic protection to transfer between vehicles. When a patrol unit is rotated out of service, TruArmor moves with the department to the replacement vehicle — protecting your investment across the lifecycle of your fleet, not just a single vehicle.
Patented vehicle armor absorbs bullet energy and prevents ricochet — stopping shots without creating secondary projectile hazards to bystanders. Eliminates the liability exposure that comes with standard armored vehicle glass and protects officers, occupants, and the public.
DOT-certified for use on public roads. Independently third-party tested and approved against NIJ and ANSI/UL test standards. Abrasion resistant, impact ball drop tested, optical clarity verified for luminous transmittance compliance.
Windows and paneling designed to fit existing OEM slots — no special tools, no body modifications. Choose your protection level: windows, doors, windshields, or full 360-degree coverage. Configure protection to your operational threat profile.
IF YOU CAN SPEC IT,
OUR CUSTOM SHOP CAN BUILD IT
Off-the-shelf solves most threats — but not all of them. When a project demands a specification beyond our standard product line, our custom shop takes it on. We work directly with your team to engineer, test, and validate a solution matched to your exact threat profile, environment, and performance requirements. No guesswork, no “close enough.” A documented, tested answer to the problem you actually have.
Bring us your requirement — a caliber, a blast rating, a forced-entry standard, an unusual substrate or frame condition. Our team analyzes the full spec, identifies the engineering path, and tells you candidly what is achievable and how.
Custom builds are validated against the relevant standard — NIJ, UL 752, ASTM, GSA blast levels, or a client-defined protocol. You receive the testing methodology and results, not just a claim, so the solution stands up to specification, submittal, and code review.
You work directly with the people building the solution — not a sales layer. We collaborate through design, prototyping, and refinement, keeping you informed at every stage so the final product matches intent, budget, and timeline.
